Maintenance Process for CAQH CORE 360 Rule

CAQH CORE would like to share with you our latest resource - a free webpagededicated to assisting your organization with ongoing maintenance related to theCORE Code Combinations for CAQH CORE 360: Uniform Use of CARCs and RARCs Rule.

Given the published CARC and RARC lists and, in turn, the CORE Code Combinations are updated three times per year, the purpose of this webpage is to serve as a "one stop shop" for all the necessary tools and information to comply with CAQH CORE 360 Rule and the ongoing maintenance process. Highlights from the new webpage include:
  • Access to current and past versions of the CORE Code Combinations
  • Timeline for updates and compliance
  • Instructions related to the Market-based Review process
  • Key considerations by stakeholder type

We encourage you to share this new link with colleagues responsible for maintaining the CORE Code Combinations at your organization and share with us any feedback on the usefulness of the site.

CAQH CORE is considering the costs/benefits of offering the CORE Code Combinations in formats beyond Excel, such as a CSV file. Please emailcore@caqh.org if you would use such and what format.

NOTE: The CAQH CORE Code Combinations Task Group maintains the CORE Code Combinations and has been meeting biweekly throughout most of 2013. Currently there are more than forty CORE Participant Organizations represented on the Task Group. Any CORE Participating Organization may join the Task Group and directly contribute to the maintenance process by emailing core@caqh.org.  All entities are encouraged to join CAQH CORE; for more information on becoming a CORE Participating Organization click HERE
